Family business - father & son

Josef Petrasek founded our company in 1988 and has been engaged in engraving since the beginning.

In 1990, we specialized exclusively in the production of hallmark tools.

Since 2017, his son BcA. Roman Petrasek has also been producing hallmarking equipment.

Our company is located near the German border, a region steeped in a rich tradition of jewelry and costume jewelry craftsmanship—specifically centered around the town of Jablonec nad Nisou (historically known as Gablonz).

We both have education in both craftsmanship (engraving) and engineering, which allows us to produce high-quality and precise tools.

Our family business supplies hallmarks not only to Czech manufacturers and importers, but also to Slovakia, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, the Baltic republics, Romania and other countries. This is due to the fact that we are able to respond to specific customer wishes regarding the shape and design of hallmarks.
